The Undersiders & Travelers vs The Slaughterhouse Nine marks the battle of the Undersiders & Travelers against the Slaughterhouse Nine.

Battle

• The Undersiders and Travelers team up to take on the Slaughterhouse Nine. They manage to kidnap both Cherish and Shatterbird, at the expense of Grue. Imp had also previously been captured.
• The Protectorate refuse to assist them, so the two teams mobilize to save Grue.
• Regent assumes control of Shatterbird.
• Grue is discovered having been tortured and experimented on by Bonesaw, and watches helplessly as she begins to do the same to his sister and teammates. This results in him having a second trigger, and murdering Burnscar.
