Samuel Vasil is a member of the Heartbroken, and a son of notorious villain Heartbreaker.
Personality
Samuel is seen acting as a voice of reason among Heartbroken, however when he becomes unreasonable, it is unmanageable.<ref>Samuel. He’s a little gentleman and a much-needed level head, but he has his moments where he isn’t level and he becomes unmanageable, fake, stiff, and more than a little weird. - Excerpt from Black 13.10</ref><ref name=dead/>
Appearance
A young teenager with blonde curls. Colt found him attractive.<ref>Interlude 11.b II</ref> Victoria thought he looked very similar to Regent.<ref name="age">I looked over at Samuel, the blond, sixteen year old Regent-lookalike who had notified her, and saw that he wore a more serious expression than normal. - Removed edit from Dying 15.6</ref>
His mask and costume are black with modest silver decorations. Costume is stylized as vintage military jacket. He wears white gloves.<ref>His costume was similar, not nearly as bold or ornate, a black decorative fitting around the eyes and nose. A slim-fitting jacket that made me think a bit of March, if somewhat more classy and outright ‘villain’. Abilities and Powers

Samuel's main ability is one that allows him to very effectively break people. He has an innate knowledge of how to cut through mental defenses, and force people into giving him valid information.<ref>“This is for the best,” Imp said. “Samuel can break people. Hitting them in the right places, right times. Goes through their mental defenses like butter. We can extract information.”

Assisted Breakthrough in a planned attack on March. They were instead ambushed by Love Lost and her group, and Samuel was shot by Colt.<ref>Interlude 11.b II</ref> He avoided being maimed by Cradle, as Love Lost had the decency to send the already wounded to a hospital.

Fought alongside Breakthrough during the second Wardens' assault on Teacher's Compound. He was able to locate Teacher's prisoners.
Samuel was killed during the attack,<ref name=dead>It made Imp think of Samuel, and how he’d helped her refine her psychological warfare. Shot with a tinker gun. No longer a part of this dynamic.
