Leviathan

Leviathan is an Endbringer.

Background:

Leviathan was subconsciously created by Eidolon in mid-1996, and was the second Endbringer to appear. He began attacking various locations around the world, retreating into the ocean after each attack. He destroyed Kyushu in 1999 and Newfoundland in 2005; the former attack reduced Japan to a third-world country.

Appearance:

Leviathan is a thirty foot tall Endbringer. He has a top-heavy appearance with hunched shoulders, five eyes, clawed fingers, digitigrade feet and a forty foot long, whiplike tail. <ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Extermination 8.2 </ref>

When the Simurgh upgraded Leviathan, he gained webbing between his fingers and several blade-like fins. He had one in the side of his arm, the sides of his neck and along the length of his spine, his legs, the length of his tail, and a 'tuft' of fins at the end of his tail. <ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Cockroaches 28.5</ref>

Abilities and Powers:

Macrohydrokinesis: Leviathan is able to manipulate water on an immense scale. This ability allows him to create waves and storms, and even to sink whole islands

Afterimage: Leviathan's body constantly produces massive amounts of water, forming an "afterimage" that attacks along with him.

Superhuman Speed: Leviathan can move extremely fast on land, and in water is faster than any known parahuman.

Immense Durability: Leviathan's body is composed of multiple crystal layers, each harder than the last. While it is not particularly difficult to damage the outer layers, the inner layers render him all but invincible.

Regeneration: Leviathan can enter a state of dormancy, during which he regenerates any and all injuries over the course of a few months.
