Leviathan

Leviathan is an Endbringer.

Background

Leviathan was subconsciously created by Eidolon in mid-1996, and was the second Endbringer to appear. He began attacking various locations around the world, retreating into the ocean after each attack. He destroyed Kyushu in 1999 and Newfoundland in 2005; the former attack reduced Japan to a third-world country.

Appearance

Leviathan is a thirty foot tall Endbringer. He has a top-heavy appearance with hunched shoulders, five eyes, clawed fingers, digitigrade feet and a forty foot long, whiplike tail. <ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Extermination 8.2 </ref>

When the Simurgh upgraded Leviathan, he gained webbing between his fingers and several blade-like fins. He had one in the side of his arm, the sides of his neck and along the length of his spine, his legs, the length of his tail, and a 'tuft' of fins at the end of his tail. <ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Cockroaches 28.5</ref>

Abilities and Powers

As an Endbringer, Leviathan possesses an extraordinary amount of durability and resilience. He is fast enough that he can run on the surface of water despite his immense weight and, beneath the surface, he is fast enough to essentially be a teleporter. He is accompanied by a water echo which mirrors his movements and produces vast amounts of water which he manipulates with his hydrokinesis.

Leviathan's main weapon, however, is macro-scale hydrokinesis. With it, he levelled Newfoundland and the Kyuushu islands of Japan.
