Abilities and Powers
Crucible is able to create spherical forecefields and then fill those forcefields with an intense heat that will incinerate anything inside of them.
History
Crucible followed Miss Militia and the Brockton Bay Wards into the lobby of the PRT ENE where he then stared at Skitter with wide eyes. He then watched as Skitter looked Miss Militia in the eyes before she surrendered herself.<ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Imago 21.7</ref>
Later Crucible would comment on how crazy things in Brockton Bay were becoming. Clockblocker told him that it was big only for Crucible to tell him that he thought that things would have gotten a little calmer when one of the local kingpins turned themselves in.
Vista turned around in her chair to face Crucible and told him that Skitter was probably planning to break out of jail to show that there was no point in catching her as they wouldn't be able to keep her. She then went on to suggest that Skitter would do it with tiny bugs to make Director Tagg look bad and maybe get him fired. Clockblocker agreed with Vista, but Crucible told them that they couldn't know she would escape.
When Crucible asked them about the possibility of Defiant and Dragon moving Skitter, Clockblocker told him that she had used his power to cut Echidna in half and that she would figure out a way to deal with them. Crucible complained about his mention of Echidna before asking them if they could tell him about it only for them to tell him that it was classified.<ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Cell 22.1</ref>
Later, after Director Tagg said that Flechette's actions could taint the PRT, Crucible asked what happened. Miss Militia told him that Flechette was stepping down from the Wards program to join the Undersiders. Director Tagg told him that he wouldn't make the Wards fight her if they didn't feel comfortable doing so and mentioned that he would requisition capes from nearby areas so that, when it came down to it, they would be ready for a fight.
Miss Militia asked Director Tagg about the possibility of the Undersiders acting before then mentioning all of the possible angles they could come from: the media, revealing information, financially, through their families. Crucible asked her if the Undersiders would really do that and both Kid Win and Director Tagg told him that they would.
Crucible, Vista and Kid Win would later cross paths with Alexandria in the elevator. They recognized her and then pulled Crucible out despite his protests.<ref>Cell 22.3</ref>
