Oni Lee wears a black bodysuit with belts and bandoleers of knives on it and a demonic mask with leering, fanged, ear-to-ear grin. <ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Hive 5.7</ref>
Abilities and Powers
Oni Lee's power is a hybrid between teleportation and duplication. When Oni Lee teleports, he leaves his original body behind which can act autonomously for five to ten seconds before disintegrating into a cloud of white carbon ash. Essentially, he can create another version of himself anywhere within his line of sight, while the old version can stick around long enough to distract or attack his target. <ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Insinuation 2.2</ref>
Oni Lee has used this ability to create smokescreens, swarm opponents, and attack his target with a number of suicide bombers. The downside to this ability is that, when he teleports, he also clones anything that is on his body. This allowed Skitter to track him after directing her insects to bite and sting him as they were teleported alongside him.
History
Oni Lee helped Lung escape during the chaos caused by Bakuda bombing multiple parts of the city. <ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Shell 4.11</ref>
Oni Lee was inside an Azn Bad Boys warehouse that was attacked by a coalition of capes from Brockton Bay's other gangs. He attacked and incapacitated Newter on the second floor of the building. <ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Hive 5.6</ref>
Angelica reached the second floor and Judas jumped through the window on the opposite end of the hallway to trap Oni Lee between them. He glanced at the dogs before looking out the window and teleported behind Bitch. He drew a knife and went to cut Bitch's throat only for his clone to then be shot by two sniper rounds. He teleported, looked around for a new target or a vantage point, teleported, and left a duplicate behind to accomplish the task. A pair of Oni Lee attacked the snipers that had shot his clone before they exploded into white ash, preventing them from drawing a bead on him. He then teleported to Brutus where he drew a knife into each hand before lunging at Skitter. Skitter hit his hands with her baton, sending one of his knives flying and breaking his stride, before he teleported again.
Oni Lee appeared behind Skitter and grabbed her in a rough nelson hold before he teleported in front of Skitter. Skitter brought her legs up and kicked him, doubling Oni Lee over, before Brutus lunged forward and bit him. The two clones then turned into white ash which added to the smokescreen already around Bitch and Skitter. He appeared twenty feet away where he threw a throwing knife at Skitter's face which was embedded into the armored section of her mask, cracking a lens. Another Oni Lee tackled one of the snipers off the edge of a roof before exploding into white ash before appearing thirty feet behind Skitter. He threw another knife only for Skitter to dive out of the way before she directed her insects to sting and bite him. He teleported into the midst of Sundancer and Labyrinth and then behind Bitch when she whistled for her dogs. Skitter warned her and Oni Lee backpedaled from Brutus' snapping jaws only to teleport again.
Oni Lee appeared a few feet away from Skitter, stumbling, moving to avoid something that Labyrinth had created. He then teleported on the opposite side of them before falling fifteen feet to land in an awkward position. Bitch directed Judas at him and Oni Lee threw himself onto his back and hurled two knives at Judas before teleporting. He was then shot in the shin by the sniper he knocked off the roof who had managed to retrieve and reload his sniper rifle. He teleported and then collapsed before teleporting again. He managed to get up and onto the warehouse rooftop before another bullet grazed him. He then teleported away and out of Skitter's range. <ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Hive 5.7</ref>
Jack Slash found Oni Lee living above a grocery. Jack told him that he had access to a Tinker that could heal him before saying that Oni Lee had to prove himself. Oni Lee asked him how he was supposed to do that and Jack realized that Oni Lee was basically a blank slate before fighting him. Jack defeated Oni Lee, transported him to Kayden Anders' apartment, and dumped him in a bathtub filled with ice and other frozen objects.
Jack later removed Oni Lee from the bathtub and told Theo Anders that he would be giving him as a treat to one of his teammates. <ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Interlude 11b</ref>
Oni Lee was revealed to have suffered moderate brain damage from his ordeal that Bonesaw fixed before she meshed him together with Hatchet Face to create Hatch Job. Bonesaw told Amy Dallon that Oni Lee couldn't control his body, but was fully aware of what was going on.<ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Interlude 11h</ref>
