Personality

Torso is very odd. He has yet to speak at all, and is mostly seen falling on his face. Nevertheless, he seems to maintain an upbeat attitude.

Teammates characterize him as a chronic fuck-up.<ref name="2.3ab"/><ref>“Losing battle, Antares,” Disjoint called out. “Torso’s a professional fuckup. Whatever clever plan you’ve got for him, he’ll fuck it up.” - Excerpt from Last 20.7</ref> It is unclear how much of it is power-related or just personal twitchiness.

Relationships

Torso is routinely abused by his teammates. He does not seem to mind.<ref name="2.3ab">“He’ll be alright!” Gibbet crowed, [...] “Come on, Torso. Took you long enough to show up, you loser.”

Torso thunked his head against the floor again.

Appearance

Torso wears a mannequin or dolls head, and a large upper body in a hard, bulky stone-like material. The rest of him is black and slim. Abilities and Powers

Torso has a very powerful headbutt, capable of knocking a Titan over. He can only do this a limited number of times, at least when fighting enemies as powerful as Titan Eve.<ref>Titan Eve tipped backward all at once, with her full height collapsing back onto several city blocks worth of road, across cracks in reality, and onto the occasional small building. The impact was deafening, and the ensuing ruin and destruction created enough dust, smoke, and plumes of gas that it became impossible to see anything.

Flying with Torso felt like an extension of being Torso. Keeping my grip was tough, because the weight seemed to shift every few seconds, to the point he nearly tore out of my grip twice in the time it took me to get ten feet higher in the air, matching the Simurgh’s height. Flying forward posed the same problems, only worse, because it complicated up and down and somehow made it impossible to keep from curving left or right.

He has similar, All-or-Nothing grade of invulnerability, albeit it is limited to his head and torso. <ref name="burden"/><ref name=negate/><ref>Wildbow on Reddit</ref> He was able to make his way through titan warzone despite his clumsiness. It also extends to master-effects with him being immune to The Simurgh's scream.<ref>“His skull is too thick for her to get to him,” Gibbet said, giving Torso a knock on the head. History

Post-Attack on Teacher

Torso, alongside the rest of Deathchester, attacked evacuating civilians and fought the combined forces of Breakthrough and The Huntsmen.

The Ice Breaks

Torso joined his team at the Wardens base, where they offered their assistance against the Titans.

At one point during the battle, Torso managed to reach Titan Eve and knock her down.<ref name="II18.4">Radiation 18.4</ref> He was recovered by the Wardens reinforcements.<ref name="II18.5">Radiation 18.5</ref>

At some point he was left behind due to untranspotability by an aircraft,<ref name=goners>Torso skipped

“Why couldn’t he come with us?” I asked.

“Because if he fell on the damn Dragon-plane, which he would, we’d all be goners,” Gibbet said. - Excerpt from Last 20.3</ref> but later rejoined his team and the fight against The Simurgh in The Wardens Compound.

Antares attempted to use Torso as a battering ram against the Endbringer, but his power proved to be uncooperative.<ref name="II20.7">Last 20.7</ref>
