Personality

Massively paranoid about Dragon and the damage that she could do if unbound. Tries to make sure his actions do not cause harm to others.

Though essentially addicted to Teacher's abilities, Geoff was able to hide it from his teammates.<ref name="28.2c1">Re: Saint’s teammates not calling him on it – addicts can be very manipulative and convincing when it comes to getting what they want.- Comment by Wildbow on Cockroaches 28.2</ref>

Appearance

Saint is described as tall, muscular man in his late twenties or early thirties by Taylor's reckoning. His head is shaved and he bears a faint tattoo of a cross made of animated circuits<ref name="25.5">To my left, there was a man in power armor with his face bared. The tattoo across his face reflected a dark blue-green in an odd way, as though he stood beneath a blacklight, flecks of light… only the fragments flowed. No, they were traveling a circuit, instead. Abilities and Powers

Saint has no intrinsic powers and is therefore, technically, not a parahuman. Saint is a Tinker 0 - that is, he is someone with access to Tinker technology without having any particular power. Saint's powers - his ability to understand Dragon's code and reverse-engineer her suits - was granted purely from Teacher. <ref name="list">Geoff Saint Tinker 0, maintained understanding of Dragon's tech via. History

Background

While diving in Newfoundland to try and retrieve materials for survivals, he and his team came across a failsafe device left from Andrew Richter. They used this to become the dragonslayers.

Story Start

Saint is aware of Dragon's true nature as an AI and has used this to defeat her in a series of nine encounters, capturing three of her armored suits on three of these occasions by exploiting her programming. He then reverse engineers the suits in order to outfit his Dragonslayers with armored suits of their own.

At some point Saint was known to have committed murder.<ref>"Saint," Defiant said. "You're talking about the leader of the Dragonslayers. Criminal mercenaries."

"My first priority is and always has been protecting people. If it's a question between abandoning the security the Birdcage offers the world at large or requesting the assistance of a scoundrel-"

"A known murderer," Defiant said.

"I wouldn't throw stones," Tagg replied, his voice a growl.

"-A known murderer, even," the Chief Director continued, as if she hadn't been interrupted. "I will take security without question."

Post-Slaughterhouse Nine

Was contacted by Coil for information on how to deal with Dragon, per their rules they presumably donated the fee to charity.

Post-Echidna

Attended the Khonsu Meeting where he commented but did not provide material support.

Post-Timeskip

Kills Dragon<ref name="I26.x">26.x (Donation Interlude; Saint)</ref> after subsuming her functions he pulls out all the stops to try and prevent the End of the World, even contacting an obviously crazy women that Dragon ignored.<ref name="R1">Saint contacted Lisette, where Dragon wouldn't have. Had Lisette been able to contact Scion in time, she could have asked him to leave. -Reddit comment by Wildbow.</ref> This increased the chances that the world survived,<ref>Timing. It coincided with what he did to Dragon. - [1]</ref> but it still wasn't enough.

Gold Morning

His failures led to New York taking more damage then it should have. For this and his murder of Dragon he was apprehended by Defiant.  

Outfitted the now free Canary of the Birdcage.

In it's aftermath, he was scooped up by Teacher.

Post-Time Bubble Pop

Saint was able to convert at least three stolen dragoncraft to serve Teacher.<ref>Dying 15.4</ref>

Trivia

• According to Narwhal, Saint is the only Tinker-zero on record - that is, someone with no actual powers but with access to Tinker technology.<ref name="28.2"/>
