Villains
Not many specifics are known about the situation in Seattle, although the city has dealt with a hive Tinker for several years, fighting drones and implanted henchmen.<ref name="call">“We’ll see who we can tap. Washington capes aren’t siegebreakers. Vancouver is, well, it’s not the largest team, and they have their problems. Seattle… hm. They’ve got this hive tinker they’ve been dealing with for a few years now, drones, implanted henchmen… they have experience with this sort of thing. Let me call Seattle. I’ll call you back in a minute.”

Snubnose is said to be universally loathed by villains in Seattle and the surrounding area.<ref name=":0">Snubnose is a dramatic figure on the battlefield in costume, as wide as she is tall, wearing a suit of armor capable of flattening a car should it tip over. 20 Seattle - PRT Master Reference</ref> headed by Director Foote.<ref>“Yes. I won’t say any more, I can’t. Look, the capes you’re getting are Snubnose, Fume, and Gasconade. They’re already on their way to the jet. They’re yours for five days to a week, depends. If the situation calls for it and Seattle doesn’t complain, maybe longer, though you might owe Director Foote if he’s going that far. He’s a good guy.” -

| Fume | Casts out large, baseball sized bullets that move with enough force to break bones, one from each hand per two or three seconds.<ref name="fume_power"/> These bullets produce a cloud of sulfurous gas on striking a surface.<ref name="fume_power">Fume casts out large, baseball sized bullets that move with enough force to break bones, one from each hand per two or three seconds. These bullets, on striking a surface, produce a cloud of sulphurous gas. The gas has a smell comparable to rotten eggs or skunk, and produces an immediate, albeit mild burning sensation, particularly around the mucus glands. -
Department Sixty Four, PRT Quest threat ii p47</ref> Both an extremely antisocial and popular member of the Seattle team.<ref>Fume is something of a conundrum and headache for the PRT’s PR department, as she walks a fine line between being one of the most antisocial capes in the West-coast Protectorate teams and one of the most inexplicably popular members of the Seattle team, quite possibly a ‘hipster’ phenomenon. - Department Sixty Four, PRT Quest threat ii p47</ref> Comes from a background with two mentally ill parents.<ref>Fume comes from a troubled background, with two mentally ill parents who crafted a rather isolated world for her, with peculiar rules and patterns. On stakeouts, she has displayed a peculiar sort of patience, capable of spending hours in silence and stillness, entertaining herself with only the thoughts in her head. She is alert throughout, however, and is capable of springing to action at a moment’s notice. Teammates who manage to get past her abrasive nature and odd personality quirks report that her company isn’t entirely unpleasant. - Department Sixty Four, PRT Quest threat ii p47</ref> |
| Gasconade | Exists in a perpetual Breaker state where any object he interacts with is imbued with energy, reverting back to its prior condition after a set duration of roughly thirty seconds.<ref name="gas"/> Needs no sustenance or relief and is largely immune to harm.<ref name="gas">Gasconade exists in a perpetual Breaker state where any object he interacts with is imbued with energy, reverting back to its prior condition after a set duration of roughly thirty seconds. Department Sixty Four, PRT Quest threat ii p47</ref> Maintains twenty-two hour workdays.<ref>Were another cape to throw themselves into work the way Gasconade does, the PRT would express grave concerns. Gasconade, however, merits special rules and conditions in all respects. With this in mind, he presently maintains twenty-two hour workdays, patrolling for twenty of those hours, primarily gathering intelligence and scaring the local criminal population. - Department Sixty Four, PRT Quest threat ii p47</ref> Provides counselling to disturbed parahumans at the Asylum West.<ref>In recent months, Gasconade has found something of a equilibrium, and is providing counselling to disturbed parahumans at the Asylum West, frequently by teleconference. - Department Sixty Four, PRT Quest threat ii p47</ref> |
| Snubnose | Generates bursts of anti-gravity sparks from her skin, emanating out in a cone with about eight feet range.<ref>Snubnose generates bursts of sparks from her skin, emanating out in a cone. These sparks, on contact with a surface, imbue it with an antigravity effect, and ricochet off surfaces already imbued with the effect, forcefully enough to push objects. The range, however, is rather short, at about eight feet. -
Department Sixty Four, PRT Quest threat ii p47</ref> Married to Nutcracker.<ref name=":1">Snubnose is married to Nutcracker, previously of the PRT Watchdog group. Contrary to all expectations, she remained with the PRT while Nutcracker left the group, after the Class-S incident in Brockton Bay. He remains active in Seattle. - Department Sixty Four, PRT Quest threat ii p47</ref> Loathed by Seattle villains.<ref name=":0">Snubnose is a dramatic figure on the battlefield in costume, as wide as she is tall, wearing a suit of armor capable of flattening a car should it tip over. History
Background
On April 1st, 2003, Seattle was attacked by Leviathan. Seattle survived the attack.<ref>Lausanne, December 30th, 2002. Simurgh.
Seattle, April 1st, 2003. Leviathan.
London, August 12th, 2003. Simurgh. - Excerpt from Interlude 24.x</ref>
Post-Battle against Echidna
As part of the fallout of the event Nutcracker left the PRT's organisation, but remained active in Seattle.
The protectorate team dealt with a hive tinker in the area.
Dan Seneca worked in Seattle's FBI field office before becoming a PRT Director.<ref>"Good morning," you address them. "My name is Dan Seneca. I've already had questions about my background. I started out as a lawyer, prosecutor for the District Attorney's office in Erie County, New York. I joined the Seattle, Washington field office after my acceptance into the F.B.I., and worked there for the past decade. I worked alongside every agency you could think of and many you couldn't, and in the course of that work, I met the man who is second in command of the PRT, Deputy Chief Director Reinhold. He offered me this position, and I was happy to take it. - Department Sixty Four, PRT Quest threat i p8</ref>
PRT: Department Sixty-Four
In an alternate timeline, Seneca would indirectly ask for their PRT department's aid,<ref name="call" /> receiving three capes.<ref>“Dan, Seattle doesn’t have anything major going on. They’re busy rebuilding and the capes are restless. We’re sending three capes your way. We’re also- you remember your training for the Director position?” - Department Sixty Four, PRT Quest threat ii p47</ref>
They eventually had to return.
Trivia
- Named for Chief Seattle a famed peace maker who is rewarded by having the mispronounced version of his name used for the city.
