Goals and Methods
The Elite were Japan's foremost team. Their members were not permitted to abandon Endbringer fights.<ref name="22.y"/> They were organized into multiple differing teams spead out among Japan.[citation needed]
Each groups costumes were color-coded and stylized,<ref name="24.4c1">Comment by Wildbow on Crushed 24.4</ref> effectively identical without a color swap and organized into groups with matching body types.<ref>PRT: Department 64</ref> All Sentai carried wrist-mounted laser guns and rifles at their hips. Their armor was tinker-made.<ref name="22.y"/>
Members
- Lung encountered a Sentai member in a yellow and black costume, whose power was unable to hurt Leviathan.
- The Sentai had a member who could mass-produce tinker weapons, possibly Masamune.
- They had sixteen or seventeen people fighting in close to Leviathan, including one in a purple and green costume.<ref name="22.y"/>
- A tinker, Seiunsho, who created several giant robots for the organization,<ref name="24.4c1"/> his latest version was deployed with calamitous results at New Delhi.<ref name="24.2">Crushed 24.2</ref>
- They also had members capable of stopping Leviathan from advancing, parahumans whose strikes caused the ground to shake, and some capable of softening or deflecting his water echo.<ref name="22.y">Interlude 22.y</ref>
- It is unknown what relation if any Black Kaze had to the organization.
History
The Sentai were set up or quietly supported by Cauldron.<ref>Wildbow on Spacebattles</ref>
In 1999 the Sentai Elite fought Leviathan alongside Lung at Kyushu.<ref name="22.y"/>
Several former members emigrated to the US and set themselves up as villains.[citation needed]
