Gavel

Gavel is a supervillian.

Background:

Before he triggered, Gavel worked as a judge in Australia. Once he realized he had powers, he decided to use his newfound power and become a vigilante. He hunted the families of villians and killed them in an attempt to keep new villians from appearing.

He lost public support when a villian threatened a city with a bomb and he thought it was a bluff. The bomb went off, causing horrific destruction, and an order for Gavel's arrest was issued.

After Gavel's arrest and sentence to life imprisonment in the Birdcage, he became a cell block leader.

Personality:

Gavel believed that anyone closely related to a villian, no matter who it was or how young they were, had the potential to become a villian. In an effort to prevent this, he hunted down and killed the families of villians.

Abilities and Powers:

Gavel power works by lessening any damage he sustains, while reducing said damage to a set amount, and he can also transfer his power to his hammer and then to his opponents to pulverize them.

He fights by getting close to his target while shrugging off attacks before extending his power into his gavel while he hits the target. He then chooses whether to extend his power into his target and let the impact kill them when they collide with something after the hit or simply
