Personality[edit]

Because of her abilities she usually uses more words then strictly necessary.<ref name=PRT1e1>

- Department Sixty Four, PRT Quest thread i1i p1</ref> Is usually the negotiator by this same dint.<ref name=PRT94e1>“I’ll get to that. Look, it was the Elite he talked to. Someone called Marion, and a fat guy, but Marion did the talking? They basically got a penthouse apartment on the other side of the city from mom’s house, furnished it, and they stocked it with every convenience a twenty-year old guy could want. One of those expensive electric cars, even. They set up a job for him at Estrella, six figure pay, and the first of those six figures isn’t a one, boss. They left it at that. He has the keycard to the apartment, the address for the job, and they’re just… waiting. Open door, any time he wants, he can go. I’d take that deal.” - Department Sixty Four, PRT Quest thread ii p94</ref>

Abilities and Powers[edit]

Listening to Marion causes a latent cascade of mental and sonic energy to build. Once released it stuns and deafens people at will based on how much a given subject has heard her talk. After being unleashed the power 'resets' and must be built up again.<ref name="SB1">Discussion with Wildbow archived on space battles</ref>

Is a competent public relations director.<ref name=PRT89e1>

History[edit]

Background[edit]

Had a very public trigger event in front of an audience; later recruited by Sterne records, had a short successful career there and became acquainted with Gabby.<ref name=PRT84e1>Marion Dirks

  • Previously independent retropunk singer, actress. Robust audience turned on her after two poor albums, rejecting even her acting work. Passed out on stage before booing fans, one of whom revealed powers and disorientation shortly after her unconsciousness. It is believed that said fan was displaying a sympathetic response to Marion Dirks's trigger event.
  • Brought on board with Sterne Records, image reinvented, enjoyed one year of success before retiring from media for reasons unspecified.
  • Now serves as Human Resources under Gabriella. Believed to be close friend and confidante.
  • 26. Estranged from father and brother.
  • Powers unknown, name unknown. Ticket submitted. May be possible to draw general conclusions from public trigger event. - Department Sixty Four, PRT Quest thread ii p84</ref>
