Template:Status/Legend/doc

This template is the legend of the symbols used in naviboxes to indicate character status. Any navibox making use of {{Status{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}{{#ifeq: ---|---|||<--->}}}} should have this legend put directly below.

The legend should be added on the gallery template page, so that it is always transcluded with the gallery. See for example Template:The Wards Navibox. However, when the gallery is designed to be itself included in another, like *example*, then the legend template must be invocated as follows:

Then the legend only appears when the gallery is used alone.
