19.y (Donation Interlude #2; Parahumans Online) is the seventh chapter and the second interlude of the Scourge arc. Greg is a creep on PHO, then makes an unfortunate realization.

Plot[edit]

This chapter is uniquely formatted to mimic an actual online messaging board forum. The point of view is from an account known as "XxVoid CowboyXX", who's scrolling through threads they've replied to, as well as their DMs. In order, these threads are:

A thread where a well-known user in the community expresses his confusions and frustrations in not knowing the current parahuman events (i.e. everything that happened in the Battle against Echidna). They theorize about alternate worlds, and a lot of misinformation is spread.
A Direct Message conversation with "GstringGirl", where they seem to be talking about a game, before GstringGirl has to leave.
A post from another well known member, "White Fairy", proposing a verification system for those claiming to live in Brockton Bay.
A thread discussing Legend leaving the Protectorate. People theorize on who could be his successor, although others don't think it could be Eidolon or Alexandria. People also discuss how the "monsters" in the Protectorate, such as Weld, have left to form their own team. Weld personally responds to this, showing no ill will towards the Protectorate.
The 34th thread about the Endbringers. People discuss when, who and where the next attack will be. It eventually derails into discussion on The Undersiders.
A post from a user WagTheDog, expressing interest in serving Bitch. She seems to be successful.
Another direct message conversation with GstringGirl, which implies things have gone south, and there's been a misunderstanding as GstringGirl refuses to show their face.
A condolences thread, asking everyone who they lost recently, either from Leviathan, The Chosen, or the Slaughterhouse Nine. Vista responds, listing all of the hero losses.
A discussion thread on Skitter. People defend her, theorize about her appearance, and more.

At the end, XxSpace CowboyxX is revealed to be Greg, one of Taylor's old classmates. He slowly comes to the revelation that Taylor and Skitter are one and the same.
